The specialist data model Lovion ASSET WASTEWATER serves as a documentation tool for wastewater plants and water treatment plants in the wastewater grid. The structure is strongly based on the current rules and regulations of the German association for water management, sewage and waste DWA (German: Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall e.V.).
ASSET WASTEWATER plants are a logical extension of the georeferenced GIS database. They depict the hierarchical structure including parent-child objects. A link between any GIS object and wasterwater plant can be created. This is the jumping-off point where the hierarchical structure of plants, function groups and individual components are visualised in great detail. Geometries of individual components are also displayed. Furthermore, moveable and removable assets can be dismantled whilst keeping their location consistent as not to modify the plant structure. These set technical locations can have predefined technical requirements when installing new assets.
The following assets can be documented:
There is a distinction between two asset classes:
Assets with a technical location:
Assets without technical locations:
The hierarchical depiction is based on the DIN 6779 – labelling system for technical products and technical product documentation.
Operational indicators for various components are depicted as measurements in tasks. These measurement points are structured in different measurement types and groups. As a result, measurements can be documented for the following areas and also help to depict a measurement series in the database:
Operational indicators are evaluated using predefined Excel exports where Pivot tables and diagram functions are available for more extensive assessments and for creating reports for various timeframes.
When connecting Lovion ASSET ELECTRICITY with the module Lovion ASSET SECONDARY, additional secondary equipment can be documented as well. This includes remote controlled devices such as network components, notification systems, switch safety components, timing devices, SCADA or SPS systems and power source components for these systems, for example
converters, batteries or air compressors.
If numerous Lovion ASSET datamodels are used in parallel, the datamodel for secondary equipment is used for all utility divisions. As a result, these assets are managed uniformly for the whole company and can be maintained and serviced using the same protocols.
Sewer inspections can be organised and documented in Lovion. Planning routes to flush sewage can either be done in GIS or directly in Lovion. Sewer cleaning tasks are transmitted to the TV-based inspection device on the sewer cleaning vehicle. Afterwards, the results of the camera inspection can be imported into Lovion. When importing damage classifications in the M 150 format, a damage and protection plan can be created in GIS.
Pest controls can also be organised and documented in Lovion. These are documented in the ASSET WASTEWATER data model including their type and location. In addition, remedy types are also documented, for example, bird nets, bird spikes or bait and poisons. This pest control is managed using tasks.
The supplementary module Lovion SEALING offers utility companies an additional tool for documenting impervious land surfaces in a cadastre. These surfaces are documented for individual properties or units within a property. They are displayed in colour and include relevant labeling. Furthermore, it is also possible to integrate customer-specific calculation methods.
Longitudinal profiles for selected routes can be created using the supplementary module Lovion PROFILE. These longitudinal profiles are displayed in a second window parallel to the primary map. By a applying a network analysis, topologically connected network areas are selected and visualised. As a result, a longitudinal profile is created based on this selection. Information from elevation points wihin this predefined radius are used for the calculation. Furthermore, this profile generation as well as the visualisation and labeling are flexibly configurable and can be adapted to common scenarios.
