ASSET LIGHTING

Documenting Lighting Assets

Overview

Lovion ASSET LIGHTING offers a data model that depicts lighting assets. The lighting point, which represents the lighting source, is the main component. All other subordinate components, such as the mast, mounting system and light bulb are linked to the lighting point. Furthermore, the flexible data model supports different lighting systems.

Data Editing

Creating new lighting points and assets as well as modifying existing assets is possible through the standard data editing tools already available in Lovion. A copy and paste function in conjunction with various predefined catalogues ensure quick, efficient and quality assured data editing. In addition, catalogues can be modified through configuration to adapt to customer requirements.

Georeference

Geographic positions of light geometries are depicted in maps and displayed as point symbols. Users can hide or show these points by activating or deactivating the respective theme layer. Attribute data is displayed by simply clicking on the point symbol. Furtermore, it is also possible to search for a light point via a selection list and to navigate to this point in the map.

The technical connection of a light point is documented via the switchboard and the switchboard component. It is also possible to use the switchboard when switching positions are not available in the electricity grid, for example, for cable distributors.

Location Identification

Each light point in Lovion ASSET LIGHTING receives a unique identification number. This location identification number consists of the street key and a consecutive number that is automatically created when adding a new lighting point. Furthermore, it is also possible to add the address including the city, city key and street name to the identification number.

Maintenance and Service Protocols

By integrating Lovion ASSET LIGHTING with the modules Lovion WORK and TASK, this asset documentation tool becomes an extensive and comprehensive light management system. Predefined task types are available that cover regular maintenance activities such as changing light bulbs and masts, carrying out paintwork or simply doing a safety check.
