Lovion METER implements the modules Lovion WORK and TASK and merges these two tools into a standardised metering solution for combining work management with metering operations. As a result, tasks for metering devices can be managed efficiently. Furthermore, the mobile component is fully integrated into the solution and also takes external service providers into account.
The Lovion solution supports the following mobile metering processes:
Predefined tasks and configurations are available for each of the above process type.
Metering processes in Lovion are managed as tasks that are usually initiated by the commercial ERP system (SAP, kVASy, Wilken, …). Specific measures for devices are generated as notifications or orders and transferred to Lovion. These notifications or orders initiate corresponding tasks that belong to that specific process in Lovion. After the task is completed, the information is transferred back to the original system.
Dispatch planning is done in two steps. The first step is a rough planning and the second step involves more diligent planning. Both steps take into account internal resources as well as external service providers. Lovion DISPATCH
offers an interactive Gantt chart which provides an overview of all tasks and available resources. Planning can be done via drag-and-drop functions with the mouse and a special assistant is available to plan resources according to their qualification as well as availability and geographic location.
Serial letters can be created to inform customers about upcoming work that needs to be done and to arrange an appointment with them. These serial letters are automatically attached to the task.
To carry out mobile work on site, the Lovion APP supports smartphones and tablets in both the iOS and Android operating systems. Technicians see their georeferenced tasks in an intuitive to-do list as well as in the map. Integrated checklists and digitial forms support them during their work. These features are also available offline (local mode). This means that work can be carried out if no network connectivity is available, for example in building basements. The data is synchronised automatically as soon as the user changes back into live mode in the Lovion APP. As a result, back-office workers can see the status of current tasks in the field.
The Lovion APP can scan serial numbers from barcodes and offers optional interfaces for various opto-isolator systems as well as image recognition functionalities for reading meters. This function is available if the Pixolus solution is integrated. Data from the ERP repository concerning compatible meters is validated against the serial number that is scanned in the Lovion APP. A validation also takes place to check whether the meter reading fits the prognosis data. In some cases it is mandatory to take a photograph of the meter. These validations are part of the task configuration to ensure that, for example, the task for a broken meter can still be completed whilst documenting the current meter state. Back-office workers can then decide which follow-up measures are necessary and dispatch a new task.
