Lovion PROJECT is the central module for planning and construction. The status of construction projects, scheduling and all structural data for different project levels, divisions and sub-projects is displayed here. An essential component in planning and construction is the module for construction drawings stored Lovion DESIGN. This module can be supplemented by budgeting functions available in Lovion COSTING. By using the correct configuration, it is even possible to create graphic construction drwawings directly linked to cost calculations. If required, Lovion FLOAT also supports internal and external circulation procedures (building permits, public stakeholders). Finally, Lovion INVEST supports budget planning and monitoring for each fiscal year in construction projects.
The central component for managing the planning and construction process is Lovion PROJECT. All measures ranging from planning and coordination to construction are managed in the so-called digital construction file. Through the integration of Lovion INVEST and Lovion ERP CONNECT, estimated and actual costs for construction measures can be monitored continuously. The status and fulfillment of planned timelines and costs are always transparent.
Lovion DESIGN is used to create drawing plans as part of the planning and design process. The focus lies on a simple and intuitive user interface. If required, it is also possible to access external data such as DXF-files or aerial photographs. Drawings of construction measures consist of individual sheets or layers that correspond to sub-projects within a main construction project. This enables detailed plans of construction measures based on their project structure and which can be combined with Lovion COSTING for direct cost calculations.
It is especially important in grid construction processes that project managers initiate large numbers of internal and external processes or respond to external requests as public stakeholders. For this purpose, the process-based Lovion FLOAT module was developed to document both requests and associated responses. These Processes can be easily integrated into construction processes. For example, it is possible to create circulation processes and responses within Lovion PROJECT. Furthermore, it is also possible to initiate construction activities in Lovion PROJECT from within Lovion FLOAT.
Lovion INVEST can be used for budget planning and monitoring construction projects. The aim is to plan and monitor costs from the earliest possible phase through to completion. Lovion INVEST is linked to the ERP system in order to depict cost and value types for each fiscal year. Costs are visualized transparently and clearly in Lovion PROJECT. In addition, the sum of all planned or executed construction measures can be displayed for annual budgets as part of the economic planning.
Lovion COSTING is a tansversal tool for cost calculations and quotations. It supports other process modules in Lovion, such as the core Lovion modules for grid connections and grid construction. Lovion COSTING is based on standard service directories that are regularly imported from the ERP system.
With the asset management module Lovion RATING, measures can be derived through network evaluations. It is possible to manage measures for potential projects and planned infrastructure developments. After projects have been approved, sub-projects can be linked to evaluated assets. This ensures that the documentation is transparent when it is used as a basis for decision-making. Sharing this documentation amongst different departments and sectors helps to identify project synergies.
The documentation process in Lovion is identical for all construction projects. Lovion SURVEY can be used for grid construction projects based on the GWS 120/130 guidelines and the Lovion SURVEY APP provides an innovative surveying solution via smartphone. At close range of about 20 meters, this can even be done without connecting a GNSS antenna. For larger construction projects, suitable antennas can be connected.
