Lovion WORK

Managing and Creating Tasks

Overview

In the Lovion system, work is managed through tasks. The central task management is carried out in Lovion WORK, which plays a vital role in the process.
This is supplemented by Lovion DISPATCH, which offers a GANTT diagram for scheduling tasks. Lovion TASKis used to exectue tasks.

Task Types

Tasks are managed in Lovion WORK to control activities. Different activities are represented by corresponding task types with specific properties such as fields, checklists, required resources or average processing time. Task types can be customized for each application and ideally represent all activities of a company. Usually, a task type contains a link to a reference object, such as a resource type or a district.

Task Pool

Lovion WORK is a task pool for managing activities. It transparently displays and controls relevant activities. The method for creating tasks can vary greatly depending on different use cases. For regular activities, maintenance plans, which manage how automated tasks are created, can be stored in Lovion for each type of reference object. Tasks can also be created manually or through automated triggers from third-party systems. Not only are tasks linked to equipment, but can also be reference to other process objects such as damages, malfunctions or partial construction measures.

Task Management

The combination, assignment and scheduling of activities in Lovion is very flexible. Tasks can be assigned to individuals, teams or groups as single tasks or work packages. Different types of tasks can also be bundled up into on package and assigned to an individual or team. Furthermore, time management can be based on specific dates or deadlines. This means that scheduled tasks, such as work at customer locations, can be mapped the same way as long-term maintenance activities, which could habe different parameters.

ERP Interface

In most cases, Lovion WORK is linked to the ERP system via an interface in order to connect technical and commercial processes. A bundle or individual order is usually used as a reference. Lovion MATERIAL can also be used to define material requirements and initiate a reservation in the ERP system. Lovion MATERIAL can also be used to confirm used materials. Lovion TIMESHEET is available for confirming work hours that can be transferred from Lovion to the ERP system.

Task Status

As in all Lovion process modules, status updates can be monitored through predefined status values. Tasks can be flexibly filtered and evaluated in the Lovion WORK overview. In addition, the process status can also be tracked transparently in a table as well as a map display using intuitive colors. The Lovion DESK also offers a dashboard for quick access to specific task types and statistical representations in interactive diagrams.
