Lovion TASK

Executing and confirming Tasks (Windows)

Overview

ndasks are used to manage activities and processes in Lovion. These tasks are scheduled and dispatched in Lovion WORK und Lovion DISPATCH , whereas Lovion TASK is designed to execute and document tasks. It displays tasks assigned to individual users in a clear to-do overview and also allows users to edit tasks.

Table and Map View

To execue tasks, they can be selected both in a table or a map. In the table, tasks are automatically arranged according to priority. Tasks with deadlines are displayed at the top whereas other tasks with no immediate urgency are displayed at the bottom. In addition, the table is organized according distance to the current center of the map display, so that users on site always see their nearest tasks in regards to thier current location at the top of the table.

Filters/RFID/QR Codes

Not only are tasks organized according to location and deadline, users can also apply various filters. For example, it is possible to only display tasks that are currently visible in the map display. Tasks can also be selected using a radio frequency ddentification (RFID) chip or QR code for unique task identification.

Reference Objects and Documents

Depending on the task type, tasks in Lovion are linked to equipment or process objects. Documents (e.g. work instructions) can be attached to a task or are even created whilst executing tasks (e.g. photos of damages). This enables users to directly access all information required to complete a task.

Confirmation / Checklists

Executing a task is actively started by the user and is automatically documented through a status change. Depending on the task type, the execution can vary greatly. In addition to a simple confirmation that a task has been completed, very extensive checklists or data fields can be specified. Evaluation fields, e.g. for condition-based maintenance/inspection work, are also supported.

Damage and Defects

Damages or defects can be documented automatically in Lovion MONITOR whilst editing the checklist in Lovion TASK. These objects are then evaluated later, usually in the office where ensuing tasks can be created. Damages can also be repaired and documented whilst executing the task on site.

Response / ERP Integration

Executing a task often has an impact on business processes depicted in an ERP system. For example, tasks can be linked to ERP orders. Recording working hours with Lovion TIME SHEET and material requirements with Lovion MATERIAL are also supported.

TASK APP

Not only is it possible to execute tasks in the Lovion Windows Client, but also in the Lovion APP CLIENT which supports Android and iOS devices. The Lovion TASK APP is uniquely designed for the touch-based user interface commonly used on smartphones and tablets. Furthermore, the user interface is simple, intuitive and intentionally does not support all Windows features. Similar to the Windows Client, tasks can also be executed offline.

TASK PORTAL

Tasks can also be executed in a browser, for example if external service providers require this. The Lovion TASK PORTAL accesses the Lovion PORTAL SERVER online, enabling tasks to be executed in the same way as in the Lovion TASK APP. However, integrated technology such as cameras or GPS receivers cannot be accessed from the browser, limiting some of the functions.
