Overview

The module Lovion COSTING is a tansversal process and is used to calculate costs and create offers. The focus lies on the interaction between other core processes such as construction projects and grid connections. The implementation of Lovion COSTING is based on a standard service directory of a utility company. This service directory is updated in regular intervals by connecting the utility company’s ERP system with Lovion COSTING. Using this foundation, it is easy to create various templates for calculations or to automate offers for standard grid connections.

Creating and comparing different Variations

Different functions are available to create different calculations with different service entries for different planning variations. This offers users a high level of flexibility. If Lovion COSTING is applied in conjunction with the graphic planning module Lovion DESIGN, it is possible to calculate costs for more complex planning variations and to compare these costs with one another. Calculation results are summed up in a item list and can the be forwarded to ERP or AVA system.

Service Catalogue Template

Cost and price calculations are supported through predefined service catalogue templates in Lovion COSTING. This allows users to create quick and easy calculations based on item lists with a specific hierarchy consisting of items and sub-items. In order to easily and efficiently react to special scenarios, these template item lists can be modified during the calculation. Furthermore, additional functions are available to take into account discounts or surcharges.

Automatic Offers

It is especially helpful to create offers in conjunction with grid connections in the Lovion system. Usually, the aim is to automatically create offers for standard types of grid connections. Thus, Lovion COSTING helps to create these standard offers based on predefined calculations. These offers are then made available to the customer during the sales process of a construction project or grid connection.
