Managing and Organizing the Grid Connection Process

Overview

Lovion CONSUMER is an efficient solution for managing grid connection workflows. The Lovion CONSUMER PORTAL offers a browser-based platform for communicating with external parties such as customers and technicians. This ensures a fully digitized process. The module fully supports grid connection applications, the coordination of construction work, completing technical grid connections as well as commercial aspects.

Customer Portal

The Lovion CONSUMER PORTAL is a browser-based software solution which supports the application process for grid connections. Customer applications are presented as flexibly configurable digital forms. Applications for new connections, connection changes, decommissions or temporary supply, which are common for grid operators, are available in the standard product. Applications for charging stations and power feeds are also available and can be customized.

  • Applications for new connections
  • Applications for modifications to existing grid connections
  • Applications for decommissioning existing grid connections
  • Applications for temporary supply
  • Applications for the operational start of a connection
  • Notifications of the decommissioning/dismantling of an existing connection

Technician Portal

The Lovion INSTALLER PORTAL can be used to manage technicians. Approved technicians can process applications for their customers and submit requests for the operational start of a grid connection. All communication and scheduling is managed easily and efficiently via the portal. The intuitive and user-friendly interface on mobile devices has proven reliable by users.

Communication / Messenger

By submitting applications digitally through the Lovion CONSUMER PORTAL, communication between all parties remains structured and organized. In addition to process-related communications, Lovion MESSAGE also enables direct communication between individual parties. The integrated messenger in Lovion allows documents and chat messages to be exchanged. External participants are automatically notified by e-mail if a new message has been received in the portal.

Processing Applications

Lovion CONSUMER guides users through all steps to review a grid connection application. Office staff receive an overview of all current applications. Appropriate filter options support users during their work. Individual applications are processed in a detailed viewing window. Furthermore, information for the applicant can be exchanged quickly and transparently via the portal.

Calculation / Offer

Lovion COSTING can be used to create calculations and quotes for the grid connection process. This is often automated for standard connections with predefined characteristics. The calculation is carried out using the Lovion ERP CONNECT interface linked to the ERP system. The most important information required from the ERP system is the standard service directory.

Construction Process

Once a contract for a grid connection application is signed, the implementation phase begins. During this phase, Lovion CONSUMER is used to carry out the detailed steps of planning, approval, execution, technical documentation and commercial completion. The overall project coordination where specified deadlines and schedules are monitored and managed is carried out separately for each division. This ensures that various project participants are managed efficiently to ensure a smooth construction process.

Workflow

In Lovion, progress can be monitored transparently using definable status models and milestones. Furthermore, process steps can be checked for technical correctness and completeness through the use of validation rules. These are applied when changing from one status to the next. By implementing Lovion WORK, additional person- and group-related tasks can be defined to map a workflow.

Grid Connection File

The module Lovion DOCUMENTS manages large amounts of documents that are created when a customer applies for a grid connection. This effectively means that a digital grid connection file is created. When a specific phase is completed, relevant documents are usually transferred to the archiving system. This is done using the Lovion DMS CONNECT interface.
