Overview

The product Lovion ASSET FACILITY offers grid operators and utility companies an easy and intuitive solution for managing and maintaining buildings as well as their technical equipment and furnishings. The aim is to manage regular maintenance work via tasks and to document repair work digitally. The main advantage of the solution lies in the end-to-end processes in the Lovion system where maintenance and repairs are manged uniformly, similar to other areas in plant and grid management. As a result, less interfaces are necessary if the system is already connected to the ERP system.

Managing Buildings

In Lovion ASSET FACILITY, buildings including their inventory are documented comprehensively. As a result, facility managers have a complete overview of all buildings and their amenities. This simplifies planning and managing tasks. In addition, it is also possible to query inventory and buildings, for example surface areas for floors and windows in order to plan cleaning work or to identify fire extinguishers that require inspection in the upcoming months.

Outdoor Facilities

Lovion ASSET FACILITY also depicts outdoor facilities. This includes parking spaces, grassed areas and security installations. As a result, planning and managing tasks becomes more efficient, for example, cutting grass or winter services. Outdoor facilities are depicted in true scale in a map. Furthermore, all real estate sites are visualised in an overview map.

Inventory

Each equipment or asset can be registered with a barcode or QR code. These barcodes and QR codes are generated directly in Lovion FACILITY. With this unique identification, each object can be queried precisely. In addition, further details such as the inventory status (active or end of life) can be documented.

Organisational Structure

Organisational structures and employees can be managed in Lovion ASSET FACILITY. It is also possible to depict which employee is responsible for a certain equipment. Departments in rooms can also be visualized in the map. The key and lock management in the solution documents access rights to certain rooms and facilities for each individual.

Tasks

Managing cyclic tasks such as cleaning or maintenance work and sporadic tasks such as repairs is possible via the modules Lovion WORK and TASK. The process of creating facility management tasks in Lovion WORK and executing them in Lovion TASK is identical to the methods applied in utility networks. This leads to a uniform and consistent processes, improving the overall efficiency during execution.

Connecting the ERP System

In facility management, most companies work with external service providers when it comes to cleaning and maintaining properties. Thus, Lovion FACILITY offers the functionalities of determining and managing quantities and dimensions for relevant tenders. Furthermore, the product Lovion ERP CONNECT offers an interface for the commercial system (usually SAP). This means that tasks can be linked to a contract in the SAP system.
