Lovion RATING Evaluation

Evaluating Plants and Networks
The basic module for network management is Lovion RATING. Assets as well as data relevant for evaluation are organised here. The module Rating is the integration plattform for asset structures. In addition, it is also the basis for evaluation models of plants and networks. All network information is collected centrally, maintained, modified and finally, archived. For this purpose, a special technical data model is used to manage the asset structure, calculation logic and decision-making metadata. Thus, all decisions and resulting measures are transparent and comprehensible. Special interfaces guarantee compatibility with all major third-party systems on the market.
Evaluation Scheme
In order to carry out evaluations in subsequent process modules, the entire evaluation structure is centrally stored in Lovion RANKING. The typical hierarchical supply structure is depicted individually for each company and enables individual assets as well as complete supply networks to be evaluated. The master data derived from attribute and mobile data of conditions are directly linked to the asset including geographical and enterprise data. The applied method for the network evaluation, i.e. the selected criteria is based on existing regulations such as the DVGW W403, G 403 or AGFW FW 114. Evaluation criteria and the weighting thereof is managed centrally. These elements can be configured and modified by the user.
Ageing Functions
Relevant data for assets, especially damages and conditions, is used for the ageing function and modelling (according to Prof. Herz or Weibull) of assets or asset classes. With the help of this data, performance indicators based on age, such as the damage vulnerability, remaining life duration and substance value can be calculated. The ageing function is calibrated in the integrated KANEW 3S® computing core.
Evaluation
Usually, various critera for describing conditions is available for asset evaluations. It is possible for these criteria to be weighted in order to ascertain the overall condition of the asset. The condition and importance of parent or child objects can be taken into consideration when analysing the structure. Thus, the condition of a medium voltage plant can be scrutinized based on weighted conditions of transformers, switches, low voltage distribution and the building. At the same time, the importance of the station can be inherited by child objects.
Asset-specific data as well as geographic evaluations and location data, for example, the location of protected areas or contaminated sites, traffic congestion and the distance to buildings can be used for a risk analysis.
Evaluation Classes
Evaluation classes can be defined for the evaluation scheme. These are made up of coloured areas in the RCM chart. The boundaries of evaluation classes can be defined linear or logarithmically. Asset Evaluations can be displayed according to their classification and corresponding colour in a list or in the map.
Overhaul Urgency
The evaluation of conditions makes it possible to describe the probability of an outage occuring in individual assets such as a gas pipeline. The results of the entire network assessment lead to a prioritisation for overhauling assets, based on their importance.
