The company Lovion GmbH is specialised in developing IT solutions for grid and plant operators in the utility sector as well as for telecommunication companies. Our specialised solutions are based on legal frameworks within the energy sector, such as the German energy act (German: Energiewirtschaftsgesetz EnWg), rules and regulations by the German federal government in the electricity, gas and telecommunication sector (BNetzA) as well as guidelines by the following German associations: BDEW, VDE, DVGW, AGFW and DWA.
Next to our expertise in the utility sector, Lovion GmbH also devotes itself to modern IT standards. Thus, Openness and interoperability are our main focus when developing Lovion Produkte. Interfaces for established GIS (e.g. Smallworld or ESRI) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) including relational database management systems such as MS SQL Server or ORACLE are supported.
The company places a high emphasis on the qualifications of their employees. Thus, an academic education is a prerequisite for working in our product development. In addition, an intensive training programme is undergone within the company and employees receive regular refreshment courses to update their skills.
